It is particularly important to minimize gradients as much as possible in an image like this. Later, starless versions of the data will be created. Any excessive gradients will hamper attempts at blending the color channels together.

This is Adam's first formal attempt at working with narrow band data. The data comes from a "Pro Plan" dataset from Telescope Live. Of course the initial calibration of the data is much the same as any other- so that is where we start. After calibration of this data, it is important to verify a pedestal isn't necessary- this is also examined.
