In HistogramTransformation when using the black, white and midtones readout modes and when using the auto zero and auto clip for highlights and shadows I find that the preview changes and the output histogram changes but the shadows, highlights and midtones value fields do NOT change. Should they?

If this is a color images, remember you need to look at the individual channels of RGB to see the changes.
