So where do I delete unwanted subs?

Ok. So I must be really missing something in Blink. I have reviewed Fastrack several times and do not see where I can “omit” or  “delete” files that I do not want to use.
I have been using a different program and obviously need to learn how to do it with Blink. Can you help?  Thanks

  • Hi Jesus,

Yeah, you are encountering the fact I could not explain everything in the FastTrack course...it is just a BEGINNING. If you like what I did there- you will definitely like Fundamentals. The information you want is in Fundamentals here:
It is part of the Fundamentals path I put together. If you watch all videos on the path you will *really* be quite proficient with PixInsight.

The answer to your question is that in Blink there is a button that moves files to a folder you specify. These are files that you can later delete from your hard drive. Blink does not delete any files on your disk. It can move them. A quirk is that when you move files using this button.. you also need to remove from the list of files to be blinked (the files in memory). You do that with the other button.

This all makes sense if you watch my videos. :)

Thanks Adam. I am getting back to finishing FastTrack and am certain I will continue on. At 73 it just seems that I need to go slower, even if I do have a science background.
I do feel that the option to delete files in Blink should be included in FastTrack, otherwise it just seems to defeat the purpose of using Blink in the first place.
Once again my compliments in your ability and desire  to transfer your knowledge to others. This is obvious in your so many free YouTube videos.
