Adding NB data to OSC images

I have an OSC (ASI294MC Pro) and recently acquired  a mono camera (ASI294MM Pro).  The plan is to add data (color and/or luminance) from the MM, using NB filters.  I'm looking for a good tutorial on how to do that in Pixinsight.  I've found some info on Youtube but nothing yet that is specific to what I want to do.  Any pointers would be appreciated.  thanks, Al

  • So... typically when blending RGB with NB images... the point is to get the RGB stars with the narrowband nebulae. Usually the contrast is low in the RGB broadband- so it doesn't make that much sense to spend hours and hours on the RBG signal.

Thus, if you are interested in blending RGB *stars* with NB data- I do have tutorials for this (as well as blending Ha data too). Most of these examples I think you will agree are not simple/fundamental. This is an area of creatively combining disparate data right? Thus, these videos are found in the Horizon's collection. Specially the Rosette Nebula example shows how to blend RGB data with NB data:

I just completed a video in which I blended Ha data into RGB data with respect to a galaxy (M51)... this is another kind of project you can do.
    It is also in Horizons:
