Discussion of LocalNormalization tool?

Hello to everyone.

Adam, congratulations on the release of the PixInsight Fundamentals and PixInsight Horizons tutorials.  I have been working my way through the Fundamentals Quick Start section. I just finished the fourth one.  The videos are great!  They have been very thorough and extremely helpful.

Today I have been wondering about the LocalNormalization tool.  I don't really know much about how to fine tune its parameters.  I was wondering if you discuss the tool in the Fundamentals series.  I did see your September 11, 2017 post on the PI Forum and Juan's response so I do know a little more about what the tool is designed for.

    Hi Dean,

    The LN is, in my opinion, a little subtle. It is also a multi-step (though simple) process. So I decided to put this video in Horizons- however, I wasn't happy with the recording..I think I can do better. So I intend to re-record this. Thank you for the reminder- I will put a "To be published" placeholder in PI Horizons.
