Multi-Session Calibration Failing WBPP 2.3.1

Hi,

I have a two session calibration consisting Lights, FlatDarks and Flats both nights and Darks only the second night. I can run each night separately and there is no problem (I Use the Darks from the second session with the first session). If I combine all the files from both nights and use SESSION keyword, I get a an error message that the Darks and the Lights exposure time is greater than some amount and there is a Status warning sign next to the lights in the Calibration tab with no Darks from that night. I tried using a MasterDark but the calibration failed.

I finally got it to work by making a copy of all the Darks and changing the Darks file name SESSION date to the date of the first night and putting that in the same folder as the first session files.

Is there some way to do a multi-night session using darks from just one night? Without having to manually change the names of the Dark files?

Thanks

Paul

  • In the 'Calibration' tab, select the lights with the status flag, and then manually select the Darks in the 'Calibration Settings' panel.

It defaults to 'auto' but you can select from the drop down list.

WBPP is working as expected - there are no darks from the 1st session, so it can't automatically match them from the SESSION parameter, so you need to select manually.

    Hope this helps,
    Darren
