Drizzle vs MureDeNoise on Undrizzled masters?

I am fairly new to mono imaging and I have been impressed with MureDeNoise on undrizzled masters. However, I absolutely see the improvement in star morphology with drizzle integration and I do realize that well-drizzled images also reduce the noise. Unfortunately, you can't use MoreDeNoise on drizzled masters.  Other than heads up comparisons on every master between the drizzled and undrizzled images, I would appreciate hearing the thoughts of others regarding which path is typically better.   I think I have seen ever AB video, and I while I am sure there is some logic to the pathway selection, I can't figure it out.  Thanks

  • Well... I have to say the MureDenoise is pretty much a thing of the past with Russ Croman's NoiseExterminator. I mean... it isn't even close and these other things are arguably obviated.

  • Thanks Adam! - glad to hear this, and I have (and use) all of Russ Crowman's tools so maybe time to give up Mure and start using the DI images. Appreciate it!
