Comet subtraction unable to get head of comet to disappear

Hello everyone

I have followed Adams tutorials Mono(Most recent and newest) and the reference images is also the 1st image and the resulting blinking of the any channel the head of the comet is visible in all images. I followed all steps as per video. The tail has been subtracted but not the head.Am I doing something wrong or is there an additional step to help subtract the head of the comet.

    Subtraction is not perfect because data is variable. You will see in my videos it is not perfect either.
    That being said, I do suggest that in some cases turning off Linear Fit can help.
    In addition, there is no rule that states you cannot adjust the operand image. You can multiply by some small value to make the subtraction better as well.
