Satellite tracks

Hi Adam

I've taken 10x300s frames from M101 and in one of them was a satellite track. In the integrated image from WBPP last version the track appears on the rejection high is there but it also appears on the integrated image. Is there a parameter that I could work in order to try to reject this track?

thanks

  • I have a lot of videos don't I?
To answer your question there are two things. Rejection High only expands things that are detected/rejected in the data. So if the trail (or anything else) is not captured by the mathematical rejection- nothing more will happen. This means you need to adjust the rejection parameters. You can *also* as I believe you hint at, do something more surefire. You can selectively reject anything if you have many frames that do not have the issue. Do this by making the pixels black/zero and setting a low clipping range.
