Recombining wavelets

I have had good luck fixing some column issues in a wavelet layer that I creating by using the extractwavelets script, but I have no idea how to recombine them.  I assume pixelmath is the solution but not sure how to combine the wavelet layers and the residual.  Any help would be welcome.

    I thought you literally added them together.
